In the event that you are unable to work with a lead that you have claimed, you can release that lead back to the originating team so someone else can pick it up. Any history that you have with that contact (date claimed, text email or call actions, and/or notes) will persist in the contact record.
To release a contact (a claimed lead) to the team that it originally came into:
1. click "contacts" on your mobile app and find the contact you're interested in releasing.
2. open the contact card and click on the "reassign" icon (see pic).
3. select the "team" icon, the "team" name and then click "confirm"
Your lead will now be reassigned to the team it came in on and others will be able to claim it. If you are available in the app, you will see/hear the lead notification for the lead you just released.
