Connect Now offers in-app texting (in both mobile and desktop apps) which give users a complete view of text communications with each contact in the app (see pic below).
When you receive a text from a contact at your Connect Now number, you'll get a push notification in the app and can open the text directly from the notification.
Receiving Phone Calls
If someone tries to call your dedicated text number, that number will automatically be forwarded to your own mobile phone number.
Texting from the Desktop App
One of the advantages of in-app texting is that you can text contacts, and claim leads via text from the Connect Now web app, making follow up easier while at a desktop. Any text or email templates you've created in the mobile app are automatically available in the desktop app, and visa versa.
Text Number Details
When in-app texting is turned "on" for an account, texts go out and are received by a dedicated phone number, which is automatically assigned by Connect Now based on a user's current mobile phone area code (the system will try to pick a number within the existing area, but will assign another number that one isn't available).
To find your dedicated number, go click on the upper right icon (in the web app) and then click "settings", "text"(see pic below).
